Welcome to Gold Psychological Services. My specialty is in forensic psychological evaluations. I regularly work with attorneys in criminal matters related to competence to stand trial, competence to waive Miranda rights, NGRI/diminished capacity, juvenile waivers, risk assessments (violence and psychosexual), and sentencing/mitigation reports. In addition to my work on the criminal side, I also work in civil cases involving firearm ID & permits, mental health expungements, IME evaluations, pre-employment evaluations, and disability/personal injury cases. I've been an expert witness in courtrooms all over NJ since 2015.

Other areas of specialty include psychological and psychoeducational evaluations, as well as consultations with parents of children with special needs. These evaluations are typically needed in order to gain access to educational services (504 plans or obtaining academic accommodations at college). I am also an approved vendor of the State Department of Education to provide second opinion psychological evaluations for primary/secondary school.
